Although the recordings include some full band arrangements, Waiting To Run is just Sue Smith with her acoustic guitar, and her honest, melodic, catchy, heartfelt and engaging songs. There is an intimate, domestic and personal feel to her songwriting, but there’s an expanse and sense of drama to it as well, which with her superbly controlled, expressive delivery will have any crowd eating out of the palm of her hand.
