Vocals that straddle singing, toasting and rapping; funky, sometimes reggae flavoured grooves; a three piece rock rhythm section plus synths: 2000 FAST WOMEN cover a lot of ground stylistically, but have a coherent sound that never sounds like a fusion, and never sounds like anyone else. Melodic rock with an increased danceability quotient: what’s not to like?
